We are excited to present our joint research project "Novel Stoffenmanager® algorithms for quantitative estimation of exposure to respirable dust and quartz in construction, formulating and metal manufacturing industry" during the Inhaled Particles and NanOEH Conference in Manchester (UK).
Stoffenmanager® and the IFA/GESTIS scientific institute are working on a joint research project in order to develop innovative calculation rules for validated quantitative exposure to:
- Respirable dust and respirable quartz for handling of dusty products
- Respirable dust in machining operations in the metal industry
- Respirable quartz in machining operations in the construction industry
The new calculation rules serve to reduce workers' health risks from occupational exposure to respirable dust and respirable quartz (classified as carcinogenic to humans). At the Inhaled Particles and NanOEH Conference, the results of the joint research project will be presented.

From May 15th to May 18th 2023, two inernationally renowned conferences, Inhaled Particles and NanOEH, will come together to spread up-to-date knowledge and understanding about (nano)particle and fibre hazard, exposure and risk.
This joint conference will bring together experts in occupational health and exposure, epidemiology and toxicology from all over the world to discuss key issues in the field, recent findings, and more!
